Arizona Republican Governor Doug Ducey withdrew financial incentives previously promised to Nike after it kowtowed to "offended" former NFL quarterback Colin Kaepernick and pulled "The Betsy Ross Flag" shoe from store shelves. Ducey tweeted: "Arizona's economy is doing just fine without Nike. We don't need to suck up to companies that consciously denigrate our nation's history." According to a report in The Wall Street Journal, Nike will lose about $1 million in planning fees and about $4,000 per full-time employee, who will now no longer be hired. Corporate America clearly won't see the light until they feel the heat.
