Obama to Fund Bullet Trains in Florida (Jobs Program?) Trains Made in JAPAN !!
Besides the fact that Florida needs a high speed train as much as a fish needs a bicycle !The fact that the trains will be built in Japan will probably mean that if the manufacturer makes a guarantee of the train's performance and endurance, That the Japanese will insist on engineering the high speed tracks and probably require that Japanese supervise the Americans doing the instalation of the tracks. They may even require that the tracks be purchased from the train manufacturing company ?

A high speed train in Florida is just a Black money pit. It is Not needed and will Not be used, Most tourists either fly into South Florida, Miami, Ft Lauderdale & West Palm Beach, Or drive into Florida through Georgia and the drive down the Sate is part of their sightseeing vacation.
Building the train tracks will require buying land, Much of it condemned and required to sell it to the State at whatever price the State offers. Then the land will need to be reinforced to stand up to a train, Bridges built over waterways and main roads, The trains purchased and then when it goes into service it will run practically empty until it is discarded with practically no resale value.
We already have bullet trains they are 757s, 767s, 777s ! And if their routes are not profitable they can just change the routs.
