8-9-22 Dr. Joel S. Hirschhorn of the Blue State Conservative is once again reiterating his belief that vitamin D could have been the solution to the Wuhan coronavirus (Covid-19) – not “vaccines.” If everyone who wanted to would have gotten a blood test for vitamin D rather than take a fraudulent PCR test for an alleged “virus” that, quite frankly, has never even been isolated, millions of lives could have been saved. “Excellent research has found that you need a blood level of at least 50 ng/ml,” Hirschhorn writes.text/html1970-01-01T00:00:00+01:00http://www.fourwinds10.netYOU WILL EAT BUGS AND BE HAPPY: Wales now feeding schoolchildren mealworms and crickets for lunch as part of the Great Reset rollout

1--20-22 Proper nutrition can make a difference when it comes to many health problems, and COVID-19 is no exception. While zinc, Vitamin C and Vitamin D have been getting a lot of attention when it comes to COVID-19, researchers are now pointing to another useful nutrient: vitamin K. This fat-soluble vitamin is already well-known for its role in blood clotting, and that’s why it could have a protective effect against COVID-19 given the virus’s ability to cause blood clotting degradation of elastic fibers in the lungs. In severe cases of COVID-19, thromboembolism is fairly common. This occurs when a blood clot blocks a blood vessel.text/html1970-01-01T00:00:00+01:00http://www.fourwinds10.net‘Beyond Meat’: Technocrats Replace Meat With Mealworms For the Peasants

1-6-22 If you’ve been paying attention, you might’ve noticed a corporate-state media blitzkrieg pushing “meat alternatives” for the past year or so. The technocratic elite have decided not to fill the “useless eaters'” (as they perceive you) slop troughs with meat any longer– allegedly for your own health and, of course, for the environment: If, after the endless propaganda to shoot up the entire population with a dangerous and ineffective experimental mRNA gene therapy technology to fight a virus with a 99%+ survival rate, you still believe any Western government cares about its citizens’ health, God help you. Via Medical Xpress: “This is an opportunity to allow someone who enjoys meat to have something that is similar to that, yet is less impactful on the environment.” Part and parcel of the propaganda campaign is an attempt to convince the public that somehow protein intake – a critical macronutrient made of amino acids predominately found in animal products — is a byproduct of “diet culture” and overrated: “‘Protein is diet culture masquerading as something that fuels exercise,” says Eve Simmons of the blog Not Plant Based… ‘In reality, most of us aren’t doing the exercise that is necessary to [require] that much protein.’… ‘There’s a paranoia about protein,’ says Jennie Macdiarmid, professor in sustainable nutrition and health at the University of Aberdeen, ‘and the market is creating and fuelling this demand.text/html1970-01-01T00:00:00+01:00http://www.fourwinds10.net11 BIGGEST holiday health mistakes

A study from the University of Colorado, Boulder examined the effects of vitamin C supplements on overweight and obese adults. This group of people is often advised to exercise to improve their heart health but more than 50% ignore the advice. In a presentation at the 14th International Conference on Endothelin: Physiology, Pathophysiology and Therapeutics, the Colorado researchers revealed that taking a 500 mg time-released vitamin C supplement every day can have similar cardiovascular benefits as regular exercise in these adults. In doing so, these successful companies try to satisfy their customers’ desire for delicious value. But are we valuing the right things? Similarly, a diet that is gaining in popularity, called the “If It Fits Your Macros (IIFYM),” allows the people who follow it to eat whatever they want as long as they eat the right amounts of macronutrients such as protein, carbohydrates, and fat. Nutrition takes a back seat to calories. “IIFYM speaks specifically to fat loss from a macro nutrition and thus a caloric standpoint and is purely a means to improve body composition,” writes founder Anthony Collova on the official IIFYM website.text/html1970-01-01T00:00:00+01:00http://www.fourwinds10.netThe Fascinating Health Benefits of Hot Peppers

7-27-21 Natto, a fermented soybean dish typically served for breakfast in Japan, can inhibit the ability of SARS-CoV-2 — the virus that causes COVID-19 — to infect healthy cells, according to a study by Japanese researchers. Published Tuesday, July 13, in the journal Biochemical and Biophysical Research Communications, the study showed that unheated natto extract degraded the receptor-binding domain (RBD), a key region of the spike protein that studs the outer surface of SARS-CoV-2. The RBD is especially important because the virus uses it to anchor to a receptor on the surface of certain cells before infecting them. Moreover, the researchers confirmed that the unheated natto extract had the same effects on the RBD of some of the mutated strains of SARS-CoV-2, particularly the alpha variant. This variant was first detected in the United Kingdom in September 2020.text/html1970-01-01T00:00:00+01:00http://www.fourwinds10.netSHTF nutrition: 10 Vitamins and supplements for preppers

5-21-21 Linum usitatissimum, commonly known as flaxseed or linseed, is a flowering plant that originated in the Middle East. One of the oldest crops known to man, it has been cultivated since the beginning of civilization. Today, flaxseed is considered a superfood and is known for its abundance of macro- and micronutrients, such as fiber, protein and heart-healthy omega-3 fatty acids. Thanks to its high protein content, flaxseed is also a great source of antioxidant peptides. These short but useful protein fragments typically consist of two to 20 amino acids and are gradually being accepted as natural food ingredients.text/html1970-01-01T00:00:00+01:00http://www.fourwinds10.netHow to grow, harvest and use turmeric, a versatile superfood

4-1-21 A common trick to maintain a low-sugar diet is to indulge your sweet cravings from time to time. You might adhere to a strict diet during the weekdays and loosen up a bit over the weekend as a reward for dieting. But a study shows that it takes only a couple of days to ruin good gut health. Researchers from the University of Alberta in Canada found that short-term increases in sugar intake can increase the risk of inflammatory bowel disease. Their finding, which was published in Scientific Reports, is a reminder that eating healthy must be sustained in order to keep your gut in good shape.text/html1970-01-01T00:00:00+01:00http://www.fourwinds10.netHere’s why you need trace minerals to boost your overall well-being

4-7-21 The human body needs minerals to function properly. In fact, there are two types of minerals — macrominerals and trace minerals. The body needs macrominerals, such as calcium, phosphorus, magnesium, sodium, potassium and sulfur, in large amounts; hence the name. Although the body only needs a small amount of trace minerals, they still play a vital role in the human body. In fact, the National Institutes of Health says as much as 75 percent of American households do not meet the recommended daily allowances for trace minerals.text/html1970-01-01T00:00:00+01:00http://www.fourwinds10.netVitamin D deficiency is the primary cause of covid hospitalizations and deaths

The most important statistic concerning the covid-19 pandemic is the mortality rate. When covid-19 outbreaks were first announced, the mortality rate looked grim, as hospital systems relied on ventilators. As viable anti-viral treatments were suppressed (such as hydroxychloroquine), many hospital patients were literally left to die. Even worse: The local, state, and federal public health response did not recommend, let alone distribute, the very substances that strengthen human immunity. Instead, populations around the world were forced to live under arbitrary behavioral controls that did further damage to their stress level and livelihood.text/html1970-01-01T00:00:00+01:00http://www.fourwinds10.net5 Health benefits of mangoes (as well as 3 healthy recipes)

Numerous studies have found strong evidence of the ability of nuts (and seeds) to lower the risk of chronic conditions, such as heart disease and diabetes. Besides disease prevention, nuts also provide plenty of nutrients which the body needs to stay healthy. In a 2017 study, researchers from the Friedman School of Nutrition Science and Policy at Tufts University found that 45 percent of the more than 300,000 deaths linked to heart disease, diabetes and stroke in 2012 were due to eating too much or too little of certain nutrients, such as omega-3 fatty acids, which can be found in nuts. An earlier study by Harvard researchers also reported that people who eat nuts regularly tend to live longer and healthier lives than those who don’t.text/html1970-01-01T00:00:00+01:00http://www.fourwinds10.netEating apples and other flavonoid-rich foods lowers cancer and heart disease risk, researchers find

7-27-19 New research from NASA has found that resveratrol, one of the key medicinal ingredients in grapes and red wine, may be beneficial in helping astronauts on future long missions to Mars avoid developing serious health conditions like muscle atrophy. Even though the scientific establishment often insists that food nutrients like resveratrol are functionally useless for people on Earth, NASA says they’re great for people up in space who need extra strength to survive long treks across the universe. Research has shown that resveratrol, the highest concentrations of which are found in the skin of grapes, helps preserve bone strength and muscle mass, as well as protect against muscle wasting. Resveratrol is also a powerful anti-inflammatory and antioxidant compound, which means it’s an all-around good thing for the human frame. In anti-gravity conditions, especially, the human body can’t exert itself the same way it would on Earth, meaning muscles and bones are likely to deteriorate over time.text/html1970-01-01T00:00:00+01:00http://www.fourwinds10.netPROTECT YOUR LIVER WITH WHOLE GRAINS: STUDY FINDS THEY REDUCE THE RISK OF LIVER CANCER

5-9-19 (NaturalHealth365) We’ve reported many times on how harmful food additives can be to your health. Now, a new study published in the peer-reviewed journal Science Translational Medicine is shedding a harsh light on yet another food additive shown to induce insulin resistance in both rodent and human models. By the way: if the term “insulin resistance” isn’t ringing a bell, recall that this is one of the main mechanisms of type two diabetes – a chronic illness hallmarked by poor blood sugar control and one that dramatically increases your risk for other serious health problems like, heart disease. Common food additive in baked goods make it harder to control blood sugar levels The researchers of the above-mentioned study ran a small trial involving 14 lean and healthy adult human subjects. After randomly dividing them into two groups and fasting them for 8 hours, the researchers gave one group a meal containing 1 gram of propionate (a food additive / “preservative”) and the other group a propionate-free meal.text/html1970-01-01T00:00:00+01:00http://www.fourwinds10.netWhat’s up, doc? 7-22-18 Say what you will about Bugs Bunny, but he was definitely right about liking carrots. While this common vegetable is known for improving eyesight, its considerable nutritional content lets it do so much more, including helping care for your heart. The health benefits of the carrot are as varied as its colorful varieties. You probably only recognize the orange kind – the one you see in almost all supermarkets today – but it actually comes in white, yellow, red, and purple varieties. Its different colors aren’t just for show – they also tell you which phytochemicals the particular type of carrot contains.text/html1970-01-01T00:00:00+01:00http://www.fourwinds10.netUS OPPOSITION TO BREAST FEEDING Resolution Stuns World Health Officials

May 28, 2018 NOTE: PHB's Comment is at the endof this article) Quick! Check every single food item in your pantry, refrigerator and freezer for the following ingredients and toss them in the trash can before you can’t remember what you just read: High fat meats, canola oil, margarine, ice cream, whole milk and vegetable shortening. Don’t stop to Google for research because it’s all defended by fake science and the corporations that manufacture, market and stock it for you. Have your grandparents forgotten who you are? What about your parents? It’s nothing to joke about – dementia that is, so we won’t. What’s worse than suffering dementia? – Having a stroke and suffering from memory loss. A stroke can leave parts of your body paralyzed, including your face and limbs.text/html1970-01-01T00:00:00+01:00http://www.fourwinds10.netUnrefined pumpkin seed oil increases antioxidant properties of bakery products

3-8-18 The antioxidant properties of bakery products can be increased by adding unrefined pumpkin seed oil, according to a study published in the journal Agronomy Research. The researchers from St. Petersburg Polytechnic University of Peter the Great examined the fatty acid compositions and biologically active components found in vegetable oils such as unrefined rice bran oil, unrefined pumpkin seed oil, and refined and deodorized sunflower oil. They assessed the antioxidant properties of the vegetable oils according to the different factors, such as the formation of the primary and secondary oxidation products; and the oxidation coefficient, which can be identified in the process of applying thermal treatment, resulting in vitamin E being destroyed. However, the resistance to the thermal oxidation process of the vegetable oils were affected due to their biochemical composition.text/html1970-01-01T00:00:00+01:00http://www.fourwinds10.netWhy everyone could use a bit more flax in their diet
http://www.fourwinds10.net/siterun_data/health/food/nutrition/news.php?q=1520448867
3-5-18 Flax is a humble but powerful seed as shown through it’s relatively modest status in the health world, even though it has been heralded as a key component in the Budwig Diet and many other life-saving protocols. It’s a tough job to stand up to the new kids on the block like hemp seed, but flax holds it’s own and can stand up to any of its competitors for practicality and health benefits. Take heed of this pioneer and what it can do for you and your health. The nutritional profile of flax Flax is a bounty of nutrition and the key to unlocking its benefits is to consume it in ground or oil format, or to steep it in hot water as a tea. Regardless of which way you choose to use it (there are some ideas below), when you consume flax, you can expect to flood your body with the following nutrients: Essential Fatty Acids (EFAs), most notably omega 3s (ALA) Protein (18 percent of total volume) B-vitamins (B1, B2, B3, B5, B6, B9) Vitamin E Manganese, magnesium, phosphorus, copper, iron, calcium, potassium, zinc, and selenium Dietary fiber Plant lignans (antioxidants) So what does the combination of these amazing nutrients do for you? Turns out, it does a lot.text/html1970-01-01T00:00:00+01:00http://www.fourwinds10.net37 High-Protein Foods

2-14-`8 These protein-rich foods are essential for building muscle and aiding recovery Protein has never been more popular. It’s so popular every food producer’s cramming the stuff into their grub. Should you so desire, you can start your day with a bowl of Weetabix Protein, dine on high-protein bread or pasta, and snack on a protein-packed Bounty bar in between, washing it all down with protein-enriched water. The reason for this popularity is protein’s vital role in building muscle. When you work out you cause small, microscopic tears in your muscles so you need protein – which is made up of amino acids, also known as the building blocks of muscle – to repair this damage and rebuild your muscles bigger and stronger.text/html1970-01-01T00:00:00+01:00http://www.fourwinds10.netEuropean consumer’s group calls for a crackdown on “bogus” health claims on sugared-up food products marketed to children

2-10-18 The European Consumer Organisation (BEUC) is urging the European Commission (EC) to look into the misleading labels of “unhealthy food and beverage products” that claim to be good for its target markets. The BEUC’s recently launched campaign aims to boycott the EC’s “long-standing failure” to put an end to the “bogus food claims” reportedly made by the various manufacturers of products that have high fat, salt, or sugar content. The EC was initially supposed to publish nutrient profiles nine years ago, and this could have prevented the proliferation of false claims by manufacturers. Pauline Constant, communications manager for food, health, sustainability, and safety, says that the profiles must be published soon. If the profiles remain unpublished, this will turn into a 10-year-old concern.
