12-7-21 A nursing home in Virginia decided to kick elderly residents out if they do not get the COVID shots. Against objections from both staff and residents, this nursing home is pushing forward. Our nation has fallen to the point that even the elderly are being denied care based on their religious beliefs! These residents are facing eviction before Christmas from the home where they expected to live out their final days! Liberty Counsel Action has been warning about these vaccine mandates since April 2020. We were the first to raise these warnings. Today, we need your help to fight back on behalf of these people who want to live their final days in peace.

HYPOCRISY ALERT: California Spent Insane Amount of Taxpayer Money to Hurt the Poor

July 9, 2021 | A new report details how California spent millions of taxpayer dollars to keep the homeless from squatting in vacant properties owned by the state. According to Fox News: LOS ANGELES—The California Department of Transportation paid more than $13 million to have security at 120 vacant homes, Fox 11 reported exclusively. The report said Caltrans paid $9 million to the state’s highway patrol from November to April and another $4 million to a private security firm for five months. Caltrans told the station in a statement that the homes were purchased 60 years ago when the state wanted to connect the 710 freeway to the 210 in Pasadena. “Now that the project is no longer moving forward, our goal is to sell these homes and provide current and former tenants, as well as those who qualify for the Affordable Sales Program, a path to first-time homeownership,” the statement read.

INSANE: Oregon Democrats decriminalize homelessness across entire state, allowing them to crash in nearly ALL public spaces

6-15-21 If Virginia is for lovers, then Oregon is for homeless people. And if you happen to live there and aren’t a lunatic, it’s way past time for you to get out. The state’s majority Democrats just passed legislation decriminalizing homelessness in most public spaces and for nearly every reason, meaning that people will now be able to camp out literally anywhere they choose — public, taxpayer-supported parks, city streets, sidewalks, and in front of businesses. And there is nothing anyone who opposes this reckless insanity can do about it. The Oregonian reports: House Bill 3115, which passed the Senate Wednesday afternoon and is en route to Gov.

Change: Austin Voters Strongly Reject Unfettered Homeless Camping, Weakening Radical Mayor

In the summer of 2019, Austin, Texas, Mayor Steve Adler and Councilman Greg Casar led a unanimous council vote to change the city’s ordinance concerning homeless camping. Tents and tent cities sprung up citywide almost overnight. Citizen opposition to allowing the tent cities emerged almost as quickly. Adler stubbornly refused to learn best practices from cities that are handling their homeless populations without simply allowing tent cities under every overpass and other places throughout the city. He traveled to cities that are handling the issue poorly, such as Portland, Seattle, and Los Angeles.

12-28-20 Calgary Street Church pastor Artur Pawlowski has been charged, yet again, by police for providing food to the homeless. Oh, and for organizing a protest, too. Rebel News viewers might recognize Artur from the very beginning of our FightTheFines.com campaign, when my colleague Keean Bexte caught up with the pastor after he'd received a $1,200 fine for helping feed downtown Calgary's homeless population. Afterwards, we hired a lawyer to fight for Artur, and wouldn't you know it? The police ended up dropping their ridiculous charge.

1-13-20 The desperation that is sweeping through the streets of socialist Venezuela is starting to infect the liberal-run cities within the United States. San Francisco, for example, is so suppressed by liberal policies; non-profits are now turning parking lots into homeless camps. The common cause: The left’s socialist economic policies are punishing the working and Middle class, squelching opportunity, entrepreneurship and free market incentives that could lift people out of poverty. In the past year in San Francisco, the number of people living homeless out of their vehicles has increased 45 percent. An estimated 1,700 people live out of their vehicles in the city now.

12-30-19 President Trump has offered to help California and New York with their homelessness problem as long as they learn some manners first. According to The Daily Wire: President Trump’s war of words with Democrats over the homelessness crises plaguing progressive strongholds, particularly California and New York, continued over the weekend. The president took to Twitter Saturday to offer some federal help with the escalating problem of homelessness in the Democrat-controlled states, but on one condition: they’ve got to learn some manners. Trump’s feud with Democratic leaders over the growing number of homeless people in the two highest population Democrat-run states — which has reached a critical point in California over the last year, with some 60,000 homeless people now living in Los Angeles County alone — ratcheted up in recent days after California Gov. Gavin Newsom attempted to shift some of the blame for the growing crisis to the Trump administration.

December 06, 2019 SACRAMENTO, Calif. (Reuters) - In the latest skirmish over California’s homeless crisis, the state’s governor, Gavin Newsom, asked President Donald Trump on Thursday to stop withholding federal housing vouchers that could benefit 50,000 homeless people. Newsom told Trump he could “immediately order” the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) to issue federal housing vouchers, a program to assist low-income families, the elderly and the disabled find affordable homes in the private market. “With a single stroke of your pen, you can make a major, positive impact on homelessness right away,” the Democratic governor said in a statement issued by his office. An estimated 130,000 people are homeless in California on any given day, more than any other state, HUD says.

6-7-19 https://theweek.com/speedreads/845376/los-angeles-officials-say-are-stunned-by-heartbreaking-new-homeless-numbers Despite an increase in spending on initiatives meant to get people off the streets, homelessness is up dramatically in Los Angeles and Los Angeles County, officials said Tuesday. The annual count of the homeless found there are nearly 59,000 people living on the streets, in shelters, or in cars in Los Angeles County, up 12 percent from last year. More than 36,000 are in the city of Los Angeles, a 16 percent increase. Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti called the number "heartbreaking," and said the city recently invested $42 million to provide services and respond to public health concerns, including rats and giant trash heaps piling up around homeless encampments in downtown L.

God is on the Side of Us Americans. “He May Guide Us to Use It [Nuclear Weapons] In His Ways and for His Purposes”: Truman

3-24-19 Update In recent developments, Secretary of State Mike Pompeo intimated (invoking the Old Testament) that God had sent Trump to save Israel against Iran, According to Philip Giraldi: “Mike Pompeo‘s view of the possible divine origin of the 2016 election result as a necessary intervention to “save the Jews” is possibly the most frightening bit of commentary to come out of the Trump national security team. But there is another dimension to this issue which must be addressed: Religious discourse has always been embedded in US politics. A twisted and shameful interpretation of the “Voice of God” has been a driving force behind US Foreign Policy pronouncements for more than half a century. In 1945, President Truman intimated in the immediate wake of the bombing of Hiroshima, that God stands on the side of “Us Americans” with regards to the use of nuclear weapons. “We pray that He may guide us to use it [nuclear weapons] in His ways and for His purposes” (August 9, 1945) CONTINUE READIHNG: https://www.

But last year, one in every two arrests made by the Portland Police Bureau was of a homeless person, an analysis by The Oregonian/OregonLive has found. Portland Mayor Ted Wheeler on Friday acknowledged it's a problem that half of the arrests that police made in Portland last year were of homeless people. The mayor said people who are experiencing homelessness or who have mental health and addiction issues should have fewer interactions with police and more with social service providers. He said he wants to know what's driving the statistics.

Meanwhile in California: LA Wants to Build Guest Houses in Backyards for Homeless People by Chris Black April 11th 2018 Now, you too can have a crack house in your own back yard! We all know about California’s 3rd world problems, after the state’s middle class virtually disappeared, or at least is working hard on it. Basically, California’s population is now composed of peasants and nobles, i.e. a situation similar with Latin America (immigration is destiny), as there are just two classes of people living there: the very rich and the dirt poor. Hence, the homeless problems, the drug addiction issues, the street-defecation problems which transformed cities like San Francisco into third world shitholes and so forth and so on.

Happy Holidays – California City Demands Church Stop Feeding the Homeless

11-14-17 It’s tough to say when our societal values shifted so dramatically, but for some reason now, government at large has decided that charity for the homeless is a crime. In a society with such stunning abundance, efforts to feed the homeless are being met with legal challenges and even police action in America. This is a disturbing trend which has been gaining steam in recent years. In the latest publicized event, authorities in California have demanded that the United Methodist Church in Malibu, CA stop its meager yet hope-giving program of offering hot meals to the city’s homeless. The church has been giving away only 100 meals a week, on Wednesdays, since 2014, which is a relatively small humanitarian contribution in a wave of homelessness which has descended on the West Coast since the housing crisis of 2008 and now spurred on by the excesses of the regions tech industry.

War Against North Korea. THAAD Missile System Aimed at Russia, China, not DPRK

4-2 9-17 Namhee Lee, a UCLA Associate Professor of Modern Korean History, said, “many South Koreans think that the deployment of THAAD is actually to deter China and not North Korea.” Namhee Lee was a signatory of the Women Cross DMZ group’s letter to President Donald Trump on Wednesday calling on him to defuse military tensions and start negotiating for peace to prevent war from erupting on the Korean Peninsula. North Korea’s missiles are short-range SCUDs with a range of 500 km (300 miles), medium-range Rodong 1s with a range of 1,300km (780 miles) whereas THAAD is most effect for long range and high altitude missiles, the professor said. “THAAD is not effective against the SCUD missile. THAAD is effective against the Rodong 1, but this missile is not developed to aim against South Korea, rather it is aimed against Okinawa,” she said.
