Trump says up to “seven, eight, or nine” Middle Eastern nations may join in the historic peace agreement between Israel, United Arab Emirates, and the Kingdom of Bahrain known as the Abraham Accords. “We have many other countries joining us and they’re going to be joining us soon,” Trump said Tuesday regarding the peace deal.
These are who we think those nations could be:
1.) Saudi Arabia
In an interview with Fox News Trump says he has spoken with the King and that Saudi Arabia will “come in at the right time.”

2.) Oman
The Sultanate has been very welcoming of the Bahraini- Israeli peace deal, a possible indicator that Oman could be in line to join the deal as well. The direct neighbor of UAE and, it’s natural that Trump would pursue this nation next.
“This embodies the principle of the two states as stipulated in Arab and international charters and decisions, and at the same time reflects the aspirations and demands of all countries and peoples that love a just, comprehensive and lasting peace in the Middle East and in the whole world,” said in a statement published in Oman state television.
3.) Morocco
The US is placing pressure on the African country of Morocco after the shift in relationships of Middle Eastern nations. The possible introduction of direct flights from Morocco to Israel is a positive indication of peace negotiations on the horizon.
4.) Sudan
The nation is likely to consider joining the historic peace deal, especially if neighbor Morocco joins.

5.) Iraq
The formation of a new government in May 2020 marked the beginning of change in this Middle East nation yet they still face the possibility of economic collapse. Many believe that strengthening ties with Arab Gulf states could be the key to addressing these issues…Could recognizing peace with Israel be the next great change in this nation?
6.) Kuwait
While the nation continues to look on with caution, it is not unheard of that the nation could be considering joining the peace deal.
7.) Qatar
“Both Qatar and the United States recognize that a peace settlement between Israel and the Palestinians is important to the stability of the Middle East,” Qatari ambassador to the U.S. Meshal bin Hamad Al Thani told Newsweek, “and we continue to play an active role in working toward a peaceful resolution.”
8.) Pakistan
“Pakistan has also not closed the door completely but its national interests do not permit it to announce open relations with the Jewish state. … Both states have had intelligence and military relations for decades. Pakistan has never considered the Jewish state as its enemy but may establish conditional relations with it in the future, after the Arab agreements,” predicts British-Pakistani analyst Noor Dahri, founder and executive director of Islamic Theology of Counter-Terrorism, to Israel Hayom.
9.) Palestine
The final piece to gaining a “New Peace in the Middle East,” if neighboring nations join in normalizing relations perhaps Palestine will finally follow.

To think his predecessor is still hanging on to his NPP for having done nothing to deserve it does take away some of the sheen and aura. What a thick skin indeed!

Indeed it should. He is actually nominated for two separate NPPs, and deserves them both and then some.

Sudan and Morocco are on opposite sides of Africa, Morocco on the west, Sudan on the east.

Not entirely on the west side, but Morocco is on the west ‘end’ of the Mediterranean Sea directly south of Spain
